How it all began...

Xaver Heinloth played a part in the Economic Miracle when he and his wife Maria bought an Opel Blitz in the early 1950's and used it to transport sand, gravel and other building materials. In 1954 they acquired an official permit which in effect gave the go-ahead to go into long distance transport. The family soon stocked up with three Heavy Goods Vehicles and expanded into the coal and wood industries.

In 1968 Xavier Heinloth Junior joined the firm. He adapted the firm to fit in with the growing infrastructure and in 1971 was made a limited partner in the newly formed X.Heinloth partnership. In the next few years five further haulage companies were acquired. The fleet became so big that Heinloth moved from Heideck to Roth, where the third generation of the family firm is looking to the future from its 30,000 m² site.
