Thanks to the close cooperation between these companies, Heinloth can resort to a wide range of services to meet every customer's requirements.

Since each member company focuses on its own special field, all services provided are of excellent quality, based on many years of experience and a continuous extension and improvement process.

The partners in the network are not "newcomers", as the years of foundation in 1936, 1938, 1948 and 1949 stand for decades of excellent experience and are proof of successful operations in the national and international markets.

Many group members have developed from classical carriers to forwarding agents and logistic service providers. In the course of this process, they acquired extensive know-how of all aspects of these trades.

Offering the customer added value beyond organising the transport of goods from A to B has been our incentive for many years, as well as providing value added services in the logistics sector beyond merely placing goods into stock and releasing them again.

These are two of the main topics in our society and economy. HEINLOTH – the logistic experts consistently implement these targets in the transport and logistics industry.

Modern fleet

We constantly modify our fleet with the latest emissions-reducing technology to keep the CO₂ emissions as low as possible. We also require our permanent forwarding partners to equip their vehicles with environmentally friendly technology (EURO V and EURO VI).

Evaluation of the telematics communication data and regular training events

Our vehicles are equipped with the latest generation of telematics systems. In addition to vehicle tracking via GPS, this gives us the possibility to retrieve information about the vehicle's Diesel consumption and the driving and braking behaviour at any time. This data is evaluated periodically, forming the basis for the regular training of our drivers.

Optimisation of vehicle utilisation

With the help of state-of-the art IT, our dispatchers make sure the vehicles are used to capacity, avoiding unnecessary mileage.

Use of the RoLa ("Rolling Road") and Eurotunnel

For us, the economically efficient use of combined road and rail traffic is of great importance.

Use of electrical industrial trucks

To reduce the CO₂ emissions, we consistently use electrical industrial trucks in our transhipment and logistics centres.

Sustainable construction

Our transhipment and logistics centres are highly efficient and temperature-insulated. Thermal pumps compensate for large temperature differences. In spring 2018 a solar power system that allows us to use self-generated power was put into operation.

Elimination of superfluous consumers

With the consistent use of most basic technical equipment, for instance master-and-slave sockets, and of highly sophisticated technologies such as sensor-controlled daylight-dependent dimming of the hall lighting, we managed to significantly reduce our power consumption.

We commit ourselves to highly responsible, professional and qualified action. We consistently strive to optimize and develop our company and our services, with the goal of reducing accidents, injuries, damage or complaints to zero, while at the same time achieving maximum performance and economic efficiency in line with our responsibility for the environment.
