HEINLOTH – the logistic experts expand logistics space at Rostock site

Heinloth the logistic experts, are further expanding their logistics activities at their Rostock site.

Following the successful launch of our contract logistics operations in Rostock in 2022, phase 2 of the new logistics hall has now been officially commissioned.

Heinloth – the logistic experts now offer block storage on over 6,000 square metres of modern, high-quality logistics space, or rack storage with a capacity of 8,000 pallet spaces. In addition, extensive open storage space is available for goods that are less sensitive to weather conditions. 
In addition to traditional warehousing, the company offers goods storage and retrieval, including incoming and outgoing goods inspections, the loading and unloading of sea containers, and the palletisation of goods.

Classic picking activities are naturally part of the portfolio, as are a wide range of value-added services. 
These primarily include the construction and stocking of customer displays for retailers, quality control, labelling, packaging and set formation, followed by the packaging and repackaging of a wide variety of goods.

A modern WMS ensures the necessary process transparency with real-time data transfer, allowing processes to be mapped largely paperless/digitally.

In addition to the pure outsourcing of certain logistics services, Rostock also stands out due to its geographical location, particularly as a hub to and from Scandinavia.
